Coverage should help a reader host, serve, decorate, or prepare for a defined occasion. Timing, cost bracket, guest count, storage, make-ahead potential, and fastest sensible choices outrank generic enthusiasm.

Food pages need coherent amounts, portions, ordered steps, timing, storage guidance, and cues. Swaps explain trade-offs.

Food, fire, electrical, tool, and other meaningful safety claims use authoritative sources. Costs and availability are not permanent facts. Sources and creators receive credit. Plagiarism, fabricated quotes, fictional histories, unsupported credentials, and hidden payments are prohibited. Ruth controls conclusions and corrections, not future advertisers.

Pages are reviewed for consistency, feasibility, sourcing, and obvious risk. Seasonal facts may be refreshed. Material errors receive dated notes; non-substantive copyedits may be silent.

Time-sensitive claims should carry enough context for a reader to know when they were checked. A price is an observation, not a permanent promise, and inventory at one seller does not establish availability everywhere. When an article recommends verifying venue or local rules, that is a real limit on the guidance rather than language intended to shift responsibility for an otherwise unsupported claim.
